10th and 11th of August
The sea around Plymouth is the resting place of hundreds of wrecks making it one of the best wreck diving places in the world and we are heading there over the weekend of the 10th and 11th of August to go diving with In Deep dive charters. During this weekend we will have the choice to dive any of the wrecks we want including the world-famous James Egan Layne and the purposefully sunk HMS Scilla.
The package is £265 each for the weekend and this includes accommodation at the Leonardo’s Hotel which has a large carpark for us and will be giving us Breakfast on the Saturdays and Sunday mornings. Free use of the Mount Batten Watersports Center for showers after the dives and we can use their bar with a 10% discount on drinks. Two days diving with two dives each day from one of Indeep's hard boats, all of which have tail lifts for ease of getting out of the water. Free air fills and half-price Nitrox for the dives plus we also get hot food and drinks on the boats between the dives all included in the price so this is a very good deal. The plan for the weekend is to travel down Friday evening where we can meet for dinner and give everyone a chance to get to know each other. Saturday morning we will be up early for breakfast before getting on the boat outside the front of the Mount Batten Watersports Centre at 8:30 am, The two dives along with travel and a break between the dives should take between 5 and 6 hours when we will head back to the boat ramp and get off the boat and put away our staff before having a bit of a wash and relax before heading into Plymouth for dinner and drinks, not too many though as we have another early start in the morning. Sunday will be pretty much the same except we will need to book out of the hotel but fear not, we will still have access to the nice hot showers in the Mount Batten water sports centre after our dives so we can refresh and get comfortable for our drive home Sunday evening.
