I've been training and diving recreationally with the team at Underwater Adventures since 2011 and can honestly say it's one of the best decisions I have made. Steve and the team are extremely knowledgeable but are also friendly and approachable which makes learning enjoyable. As part of the UA dive club I've been able to dive all over the UK and abroad as part of a friendly group and have thoroughly enjoyed myself.
I have completed the open water, advanced open water and rescue diver with underwater adventures and it has been a great experience. I was terrified the first time I took my first breath under water but just one year on, I feel much more confident and enjoy every dive. The instructors made this possible by being very patient, informative and have a lot of experience about the sport that they are very clearly passionate about. the club members are very welcoming and friendly with a wide range of experience. best club ever :)
I have dived with Underwater Adventures for the past 2 years, in that time the club has helped me increase in confidence & enable me to achieve higher certifications. There's always great trips on offer both in the UK and abroad and plenty of opportunities to meet socially. Highly recommend them!!
I have done all my scuba diving courses through underwater adventures and they are really well organised and the course prices are very good value for money. Steve - the owner, has also taught all 3 of my children and they thouroughly enjoy every course. Steve has so much patience and is incredibly calm with all aspects of scuba which makes the scuba journey for us all very relaxing, safe and enjoyable. Highly recommended! 5 star service!!
I've had the most exciting year thanks to the team at Underwater Adventures. The instructors helped me take baby steps and under their guidance I finally managed to complete my Open Water Course. Within a few months, and with their camling influence, I had gained sufficiently in confidence to become an Advanced Open Water diver. And it wasn't just me - they were also brilliant with my daughter as she initially struggled to overcome her fears but she has now also qualified as a Junior Open Water Diver. By the end of the season we were both happily jumping into the sea, off the coast of Lundy Island, to swim with seals.
