The PADI open water course is made up of three parts, the online dive theory, confined/pool dives, and four open water dives which take place at specialist scuba diving lakes around the country, we even offer foreign trips to Lanzarote and Ibiza where you can finish your PADI open water course with you open water dives in the winter sun.. With our courses, we believe in allowing you to learn at your own pace which is why we have opted for the online theory which you can download and take with you plus access to your own PADI instructor during the theory in case you don't understand something, and unlimited pool sessions so you can learn at your own pace instead of being rushed through our course in as little as 5 hours as some other dive schools do. What is the padi open water course?
The PADI open water course is the first step in learning to scuba dive and will allow you to scuba dive down to 18m with a buddy anywhere in the world in condition equal to or better then you learn in. The course itself is made up of 3 parts, the dive theory, the confined water, and the open water dives.
The dive theory is completed online under the guidance of one of our instructors who you will be able to contact anytime with any questions. This gives you the freedom to download and complete anywhere and at times to suit you, so no more stuck in boring classrooms.
The confined water sessions take place at any of your pools where you learn the skills you need to dive safely and how to control yourself underwater with the scuba equipment. Unlike most other schools, we offer unlimited pool time so you can learn at your own pace and can even take a break during the training should work or other needs arise so there is no pressure on you to complete in just a set number of hours.
The open water dives are where you get the chance to scuba dive for real, either in a specialist scuba diving lake or on one of our dive trips, while under the supervision of our PADI dive team.

Small class sizes We have a Maximum of 4 open water students during your open water dives, which is half the size of other dive schools, so we can give you the attention you deserve. Coupled with the unlimited pool session and online dive theory gives you get the best possible education whilst still working at a pace to suit you and make you the best divers you can be.
PRIVATE HEATED POOL
We have use of several Swimming pools located throughout Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and Cambridgeshire, each with great facilities on site. We currently use the private Polam swimming pool in Bedford and the pool at the Chesterton sports centre in Cambridge. you will have a pool near you and times and flexibility to suit your busy lifestyle
PADI open water referral
You may not like the idea of learning to scuba dive here in the UK or maybe you have a time restriction, but don't worry, the PADI referral system
is perfect for you. With the PADI referral system, you can complete the dive theory and confined water/pool sessions here in the UK and finish the course off while on holiday anywhere else in the world. Our courses start at the beginning of each month although the day is dependent on which pool you would like to learn at, so if you would like to know about the start time and locations please contact us
